Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

I'm so sorry, Connie.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

Oh, Connie, I'm so so sorry.

Hello Kitty Captain America made me smile. As do the rest of you wonderful people. Shock is a beautiful, soothing thing.

The little bow is perfect.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

We are all here for you, Connie.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

So shocking, Connie. Whatever you need, we'll try to do.

I love all of those links!

Bob's learned to live with tragedy, but he knows that this tragedy is one that won't ever leave him or get better.

My student brought her puppy to work. I told her she could do it today only because very, very few people are here. We are a fairly dog-friendly building, but 2 of the deans do not like it, so it is really only professors or people who report to a different dean who do it. My student (of course) doesn't really see the distinction, but after about an hour she said, "I am never bringing the dog again because it is so distracting!". Live and learn

My dog is the perfect office dog in that people generally don't realize she's there. Until she dozing and making huge grumble happy sighs. But it's also a vet and she gets anxiety thinking people will poke and prod her. Given we aren't technically pet-friendly, that usually happens. But she needs to get comfortable with the medical too. Mostly she naps in the corner and people are surprised to see her. It's mostly me socializing her and getting her more comfy with actual vet staff. That really explains at least two vax that she has. Lyme isn't a big risk in her life but she had a whole day at work!

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Oh, Connie. I'm so sorry.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Connie, I'm so sorry. That was quite a lot of living he packed in there. It's good you got to be part of so much of it.

I'm currently answering a Jamaica AMA on IO9 natter and playing (and beating) 7 random people on Scrabble. I should be reading art books. I will be. In a sec.
