Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Car full of cardboard to the recycling center, trunk full of donations to the SPCA, how did that take all afternoon? Everything takes longer than you think it will. Now to put on clean clothes and go eat pizza with the fam. Then come home and try to accomplish at least one more thing on the list before I crash.

Light accomplishment day. 3 hours of exercise (No fucking doctor who prescribes exercise will take into consideration what other doctors are prescribing), 1 load of laundry, ten Xmas cards addressed.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Three hours of exercise! That's a lot.

What a relief, Calli.

Gets old. But if I don't do the aerobic, it shows in my blood sugar, which I need to keep down to save my eyesight. If I skip the muscle and stretches, various parts of me give intense pain. So, it is amazing how much the threat of permanent blindness plus short term feedback in the form of immense pain can motivate sticking to a food plan and exercise routine.

brillig

You're better at managing your blood than I am, Typo. Fortunately, my eyes show no signs of diabetic degeneration.

I've had 15 minutes of downtime in the last 12 hours (well, more of you count my swim, but that's routine) and I've got a load of laundry going and am about to head next door for a bit and the finish cookies. And and and. December is so stupid hectic.

I'm watching Olive Kitteridge, and it's a little close to home. Yikes.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Everything takes longer than you think it will.

Right? I got some shopping done (groceries and gifts) but I don't feel much more accomplished than days when I have sat on the couch all afternoon. Tomorrow morning I am getting my free stuff at Starbuck's and buying one more pressure cooker that I have decided I need for gifts, maybe that will feel more satisfying.

And I just realized I bought mulling spices but not cider. That's not gonna work.

10 pm, time to fetch laundry and start melting caramel.
