I'm watching Olive Kitteridge, and it's a little close to home. Yikes.

Right? I got some shopping done (groceries and gifts) but I don't feel much more accomplished than days when I have sat on the couch all afternoon. Tomorrow morning I am getting my free stuff at Starbuck's and buying one more pressure cooker that I have decided I need for gifts, maybe that will feel more satisfying.

10 pm, time to fetch laundry and start melting caramel.

I've also got far more forks and knives, bowls of various sizes, and plates. Anything chipped or cracked is getting tossed, anything in decent shape will get donated. I wonder if the homeless shelter can use them. I don't think they actually serve food there, but we'll see.
I need to buy beer and work on a beer reduction tomorrow for some gifts.
Cookie exchange was extremely fun. Good to see lots of people I was missing. I like feeling connected.
Despite not really having the time this week, seeing the peoples via wine night and next door tonight so totally worth it. Even if tonight was new peoples from the hood, good exercise.
