Hi zuisa! I remember you. Are you still sailing the seas?

Zuisa, I remember your ship job! So it's still working for you?

I'm an introvert, but I like coming in to the office to hear the conversations around me and the presence of people. I've always enjoyed going to busy, crowded places to observe the people going about their activities. I just don't want to interact with any of them.

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

I miss being in an office. Home has too many distractions.

I can't wait to hear the latest, Sara. Sounds like there's change coming, some way, some how. And that's fantastic for Karen, but I know you're going to miss her.

Hi zuisa!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I've always enjoyed going to busy, crowded places to observe the people going about their activities. I just don't want to interact with any of them.

As noted last Sunday, that is one of my favorite things!

Hey zuisa!

Ann, that's a ferret.

Hi, zuisa!

call me jacki; zuisa is an internet nick from ancient times =)

Thanks!!

I am still on ships! I don't love it anymore, and I am trying to figure out something else to do, but I did go and meet a boy and fell in love and now I'm more hanging around for him. Some days that feels pathetic, and some days it feels romantic, but it is what it is.

Hi Zuisa!

Well, I should hear about the job at the nearby university today or tomorrow. The waiting is making me nuts! I did hear from the not-so-near university about another job (lower pay, longer commute, more interesting work content), and they're waiting to get sign off on funding before pulling the hiring trigger, but I'm apparently a decent contender there. And I'd get to add Coursera course creation to my resume, which would be nice. I think I'd rather have the closer, higher paying job. It seems like it would have some interesting challenges, and there's be some resume fodder there, too.

Honestly, at this point I just want a job offer.

Hi, zuisa! I totally remember you!

Good luck with the certification test, Anne!

Looks like I'm volunteering tomorrow, too, even though I'm not signed up. The kids are so cute, and so enthusiastic. One kid figured out that you could rack up a really high score on the program-your-own Flappy Bird game by adding multiple 'Add Score' blocks to the avoid obstacle event. I told him that it was exactly what a real programmer would do. :-)

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

The waiting is making me nuts!

Sister! I still don't know if I have have it--waiting on their reaction to my drug test results is making me want to smash my head into a wall. And there are always more questions?

I also need to arrange health insurance, because the position doesn't come with any and COBRA expires this month.

All this for a year contract...

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Hi, zuisa! I remember you! I was talking to someone the other day about Harbin and thought about you. Good to see your pixels again!
