You can talk and stuff, right? Just not bite down all the way? Your jaw should be OK. And obviously I am a medical doctor -- I'm still watching Grey's Anatomy!
Goodbye and Good Riddance 2013: That Was the Year That Was
Every year we watch the Charlie Brown special, do the Snoopy dance, wish everybody a Merry Thanksgivukkahmas, and thank our Secret Santas in the good riddance thread. Which is this one, in case you were wondering. Out you go, 2013!
I bet there are isometric jaw exercises or some such.

Oo, I'll ask my PT next week. Presumably he'll know more than just knees.

My googling has brought up many recipe blogs from people with wired jaws, and for most of them, it's wired shut for 4-6 weeks. Although, I do seem to remember a friend in college having it wired for a whole semester after a bike accident.

what?

One yummy smoothie that will give you more caloric oomph is oatmeal + juice + honey + fruit of your choice. Totally good.
Kat, my plan for right now is to see what my woefully unused blender can do. I'm going to start slow and easy--smoothies and pureed soups. Once I get bored with those, I'll be more motivated to branch out.

What kind of oatmeal? Cooked or uncooked?
