Every year we watch the Charlie Brown special, do the Snoopy dance, wish everybody a Merry Thanksgivukkahmas, and thank our Secret Santas in the good riddance thread. Which is this one, in case you were wondering. Out you go, 2013!

Today I got my package! aurelia was my elf, and she was a fabulous one. It was all in an adorable, reusable penguin gift box for starters. Inside were two beautiful, reusable fabric gift bags, the kind you can track. So cool! And then the gifts themselves... two kinds of uber dark chocolate and a light-up sonic screwdriver keychain. Best for last - wrapped in beautiful white handmade paper decorated with a real leaf, a drop dead gorgeous ginormous silk scarf made by an artisan in Thailand. It's purple and teal and gold, so it not only matches a large chunk of my wardrobe (I have so much teal), it will work quite well for Mardi Gras.

I am in Florida visiting with my dad until New Year’s Eve, so any Santa gift waiting for me at home will have to go unopened until then. Didn’t want my Santa to worry!

Squeeeeee. I just got a package that has the most awesome Supernatural hex bag. It has salt, and army man, Lego blocks, a matchbook from the Winchester Mystery House and a bunch of smashed pennies from the Winchester Mystery House. Oh, and a shoe (the one Sam lost?). It looks like this is from ita! Thank you!!!

Thank you to smonster for the wonderful gifts! The pecans are delicious, the mug is perfect, and the ornament is awesome. I can't wait to wear the new bracelet, but the card made me cry.
