Total winter wonderland here. Which would be awesome if we're weren't about to drive 150 miles north.
Goodbye and Good Riddance 2013: That Was the Year That Was
Every year we watch the Charlie Brown special, do the Snoopy dance, wish everybody a Merry Thanksgivukkahmas, and thank our Secret Santas in the good riddance thread. Which is this one, in case you were wondering. Out you go, 2013!
Safe travels to those who are on the road today!
I'm at my parents' in Raleigh, but my roommates are home to receive any packages. I am a bit of a slacker, but planning to pay the slacker price as I mail it tomorrow.
I'm going to mail my package tomorrow.
I won't mail my package until Thursday, but I WILL mail it!
I arrived in Indiana to find packages awaiting me!
In one, there was yarny magnetic poetry, and TWO White-Dude-Lit-Fast-Compliant books (continuing the non-traditional tape pattern, this wrapping used blue electrical tape)! I am particularly excited about the James Baldwin, as I have read none of his stuff, but worked a show based on his life, so, yay!
ALSO! There was yarn! Pretty washable merino in honey colors. I will have to find a use for it.
Thank you, my elf!
If any of you late mailers are my secret Santa, I am at my parents' until the 29th, so don't sweat it.
I'll be out of town until Thursday, myself. Be chill, Secret Santa!
I was leaving for work this morning, and USPS had already made a delivery! Juliana is my Secret Santa! I got cookies! There's more stuff coming! Thank you!!
Calli! You have excellent timing!
After my morning's adventures I came home to find a box tucked next to my door. I now have a very cozy hoodie pillow case, a very cool spoke light for my bike, and a beautifully delicate glass orb containing dandelion seeds. Oh, and the card is gorgeous! Thank you, Calli!
