I just said that you're pretty. Even when you're covered in...engine grease, you're... No, especially, especially when you're covered in engine grease.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

My father went grey localised, my mother went salt and pepper sprinkled all over. I had used to want streaks, but you have to have hair for that. I desperately hope I get sprinkled all over. Please please please. I would dye to compensate for that, or just shave shorter. Something.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Did you guys (read: Hec) see Felicia Day's new haircut? She looks fab.

So cute! I love her with short and I didn't think she'd ever go back after she talked about getting it cut post-Buffy and not working for nine months.

I guess when you are your own mogul you get to call the shots with your hairdo.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

I knew I had grey temples, but a dressing room mirror recently showed me that it is far more sprinkled than I realized. I'm not sure how I feel about that.

Mogul is a strong word for fandom darling who's unknown by many and has a healthy backlash among a decent %age. I like her, but that's kinda overstating her niche.

The Walgreens shingles shingle says 98% of Americans have had chicken pox and are therefore at risk of shingles. They mean of the susceptible age, right? (I just found a scary site explaining that you couldn't get shingles if you got chickenpox, ergo/because (the direction is not important) the vaccine was responsible for an epidemic, and...how? What?) How much has the vaccine cut that down to?

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

apparently, the older you get, the more likely you will have shingles. it is apparently a scourge among those who are 80 or older.

which sucks because if you lived that long and have your wits, to have shingles blows.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

I suspect shingles blows at any age.

Do they know whether or not the chicken pox vaccine can make one susceptible to shingles?

The CDC page I found said you're less susceptible than if you had the full-blown infection, but I don't remember numbers.

That makes sense. Thanks ita.

Totally overstates her niche, but then I use hyperbole as a rhetorical device with reckless abandon.

HOWEVER, I do think she is making a decent living doing her own biz. Plus Supernatural or Joss will write her into something on sheer affection.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I had chicken pox when I was 14. Guess I should get the vaccine. I had a friend who got shingles when she was 31; said it was horrible.
