Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

That makes sense. Thanks ita.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I like her, but that's kinda overstating her niche.

Totally overstates her niche, but then I use hyperbole as a rhetorical device with reckless abandon.

HOWEVER, I do think she is making a decent living doing her own biz. Plus Supernatural or Joss will write her into something on sheer affection.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

I had chicken pox when I was 14. Guess I should get the vaccine. I had a friend who got shingles when she was 31; said it was horrible.

"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

I had German Measles and Chicken Pox and Mumps as a kid. Two of those within a six week period of being very sick while being very young. Just a blur of fever and discomfort.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Plus Supernatural or Joss will write her into something on sheer affection.

Sheer affection and fanbase demand. I think at this point, SPN can't afford to not write her in in well-considered doses. She's female, she's sassy, she's ALIVE, and so far she's on the side of good, but you never do know with these things...

I think much of the backlash is gamers wanting to know why she's in their peanut butter. Plus, she's totes not that hot, not as hot as that other Wilde chick, why can't we have her?

They do have a sense of entitlement. There's movie star pretty and TV star pretty and she's plenty good enough in the latter category. By web series standards she's hotter than the sun. Especially with that new haircut.

information libertarian

I had shingles about 5 years ago, and it was not very bad. Valtrex nipped it in the bud. But one certainly hears of terrible cases involving ongoing neuropathy. I had bad chicken pox - like, my parents the doctor and nurse nearly took me to the hospital bad - at 5.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

I just found a scary site explaining that you couldn't get shingles if you got chickenpox

Ha, fucking ha.

I had chickenpox as a child, and shingles as a teenager. Not fun. Plus, my shingles outbreak infected three of my cousins with chickenpox.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

My mom had shingles, (just before the Valtrex drug came out, alas) and had a resulting trigeminal neuropathy that would send thunderbolts of pain across her face when she walked out into cold air.

I asked my doctor about the shingles vaccine, but most insurances won't pay for it until you're 60.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Yeah, my dad had it pre Valtrex and it was ghastly.
