Well some friends of Buffy played a funny joke and they took her stuff and now she wants us to help get it back from her friends who sleep all day and have no tans.

Because books.

Thanks, Cash! And thanks, le nubian!

I'm attempting to have a positive attitude about the work week ahead. This is me, trying. ::fixes smile firmly in place::

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I suspect this xkcd speaks for many Buffistas. [link]

Damn lazy-ass lizard people.

Hey, I remember when they ran on the platform Vote Change: Vote Lizard! But once they gained power they just became part of the Washington establishment. You know, just laying on rocks sunning themselves all day.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Looking for gift ideas? DNA art. [link]

Do you give your DNA to someone, or do you steal theirs and have it made into art for them? Pesky questions...

Epic night of nightmares last night, including that thinking you're woken up, I guess. Because I thought I was in so much pain I wouldn't be able to work today (and I was really worried about being in that much pain on a Monday, and how would I make it to my pain appointment tomorrow, etc), but when I got up for good this morning it was at standard levels.

Aside from the pain stuff that I had when I thought I was awake, there was also some creepy horror stuff that I was trying to wake up to avoid but couldn't get clear of (which should have tipped me off that I wasn't awake...). I do hate the brain much of the time. Am exhausted.

Little Girl’s Rays of Sunshine Wish Granted by ‘Top Gear’ Host Richard Hammond and a Pink Lamborghini

"Rays of Sunshine" is like the Make a Wish foundation.

All sorrows can be borne if you put them into a story. Tell me a story.

Right? Which is more creepy? Some of the art looks interesting, but... yeah. I do want the bioluminescent Dino Pet made by that company though.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

My motivation has gone completely missing today.

I can't believe I just got through "You named your kid Holden?" and came out the other side alright. At least I didn't say it to the parent that really loves the book, but to the parent that was dubious about it and is happy that her Holden is the anti-Caulfield.

One more co-worker who will never let me near their kids...

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

Holden is super-trendy right now. Boys names ending in N have been on the rise for a while, and all the "normal" ones (Dylan, Aiden, etc) are pretty played out.
