I was going to say what Dana said.
Also, as I was reminded today, at some point in the past 20 years, they changed the response to "The Lord be with you" is now "And with your spirit," instead of "And also with you." FYI.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

I have purchased adequate though too spendy bras, cleaned all the house, done all the laundry, made up the bed, remembered to eat dinner, taken a shower so clean me goes on clean sheets. I didn't schedule my time well today. Spent too early just cuddling with the cats (but who can resist a sleepy Pumpkin who wants you to hold her paw and Loki burying his nose in your neck??) but it all.got.done. So maybe I can manage to start some long neglected projects tomorrow. And kill some weeds.
What Dana said. Although if you cross your arms you might get a blessing.
Thank you! I knew there was something but I could not remember exactly what. I phrased it differently when I googled it, and didn't get the right information.
ETA: I'll happily take all the blessings I can get.

I so miss Amon laying on the bed with his paw pad pressing against my fingertips and us just looking at each other.

I think it was fairly recent, since I remember hearing about it and being horrified. Not that I go to mass any more. But some things are tradition! At least since Vatican II!
The ones labelled "patio dress" look like house dresses to me, maybe with slightly more embellishment. That kind of makes sense to me.
I think that's "Peace be with you", Jesse, but that's a really old memory I'm accessing and trying to reverse engineer (I know I have the automatic "and also with you" response that is now defunct, but I'm not entirely certain what it is to, because those weren't my lines)
sara, I keep meaning to confirm, but are you coming for thanksgiving? If not, we're going out of town, perhaps.
Your call. If you'd like to go out of town, I can make other arrangements. I think I have enough brain back to make plans either way.
It's definitely when the priest says "The Lord be with you" -- possibly there's something specific you're supposed to say when passing the peace, but that's more ad hoc, IME.

Yeah, I think it was, too, but I know the last time I went to Mass with any regularity was 20 years ago, so.
