I'm not sure why someone on another board is suggesting all Jamaicans might have had a bad experience with a large dog. How hard is it to believe that some people just don't give a fuck?
The external drive on my TiVo seems to have failed. I can't bring myself to press "Clear" and proceed. I think it might mean I've lost everything that was stored on it. I powered the drive down and back on again, and when I plugged the power cable back in (while it was turned off) there were sparks.
So if you don't hear from me again, my place burnt down because I couldn't deal with the second electronic failure this week.

I know a whole lot of non-Jamaicans that have had bad experiences with large dogs. Including myself, and yet I have a large doby.

I wonder if this is an actual trope among racists? I know when I installed a network in Gabon, a bunch of white ex-pats told me "Black people are all afraid of dogs." My standard response was to ask if all whites in Gabon owned white pointed hoods, but in retrospect, since very few were Americans, I'm not sure they got the reference. Is the KKK well known outside the USA?
