See, in my fantasy, when I'm kissing you... you're kissing me. It's okay. I can wait.

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

It would make things easier to remember, Sue...

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Either is acceptable to have dinner with.

Cats to become a rabbit should gather immediately now here

June Thomas is on the Gabfest this week! I am so excited!

I would also listen to Jilli and StuntHusband.

I'm actually looking forward to a longer commute so I can keep up with my podcasts! I'm so behind from being out of town last weekend.

Art Crawl!!!

Jesse - I am also crazily behind on my podcasts.

This will not, of course, keep me from subscribing to Jilli's podcast should this be happening.

I think I am really picky about my podcasts- I don't have enough of them and I like to play them all day at work. I have listed to every This American Life and Pop Culture Happy Hour (my favorite), all the Slate Culture Gabfests with June Thomas, Making It with Riki Lindhome and The JV Club with Janet Varney. I need more!!!

It's Fresh Air and WTF I can't deal with, because they are too much volume when I'm not listening to at least an hour a day. (And I don't listen at work.) And now Extra Hot Great is back!

information libertarian

We started ATLA when my kids were 5 and 2, and they both loved it, although the 2 year old was, well, 2, so had only the vaguest grasp of it. There is some violence but it's never graphic and in fact the overarching message is about using nonviolent approaches. I think if the 5 year old goes to PG movies and watches TV, you should be fine. If the kid or parents are really sensitive about media, then wait.

Just had an amazing lunch with coworkers. They've been having a food truck come here once a month, and today it was this Chinese American one, and I had a sandwich that was scallion pancakes with poached eggs inside (along with cheese and pesto, the American parts...) and YUM.

That's the pain / That cuts a straight line down through the heart / We call it love

Holy god, that sounds delicious. I haven't had good scallion pancakes in AGES, let alone with eggs and cheese and pesto.
