Just had an amazing lunch with coworkers. They've been having a food truck come here once a month, and today it was this Chinese American one, and I had a sandwich that was scallion pancakes with poached eggs inside (along with cheese and pesto, the American parts...) and YUM.

Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
Holy god, that sounds delicious. I haven't had good scallion pancakes in AGES, let alone with eggs and cheese and pesto.
I am not sure how things fell apart so quickly after my sister left, but I'm rampantly not coping, and on PTO for at least the morning.
I have never had scallion pancakes. Apparently I am missing out.
oh ita!
My one coworker had never had scallion pancakes, either! They are the mf bomb.
Oh dear, ita. I feel like a sudden loss of mobility, added to your normal shit, would really be Too Much.

Note to self: go to Boston for lunch.
May I pimp the Judge John Hodgman podcast? [link] Really smart, funny and usually not very long, so they are great for a commute. I LOVE this podcast,
I need more yoga or meditation podcasts. Things I can listen to while having to write.
You guys, can we talk about money? I want to go to Paris in the winter/spring, and need to hire movers, and probably get a bunch of new furniture (and I'm sick of cheap furniture), AND I need to replace a crown for $500. I do not have money for all of these things! But I think I should still do them all. Going back into debt for a little bit is OK, right?
Since I'm carrying a buttload of debt and STILL planning to use some windfall money to buy a new TV this weekend instead of paying off my credit cards...I vote yes! Hooray for debt!
