"Look, son, if it's good enough for Shirley Bassey, it's good enough for you."

Bobby is studying physical therapy. He is always showing off his knowledge of anatomy around me. I think he knows every single muscle and bone and so forth at this point.

My dad did PT for his first seven years in the Air Force, rehabbing guys who came back from the Korean War. So Emmett is not just a fourth generation catcher, he might have physical therapist in his blood.

Not so nice is that I'm about to ruin a Friday morning for a bunch of people because of a series of unfortunate events and an upset foreign government. - shrift

My lord, Emmett is graduating? That's just not possible. Congratulations to all who love him.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

My sister and some of her friends wanted to switch to PT to get closer to the sports teams. None of them did, but I did later meet one woman who went into it with that as her motivation.

And now I have a cousin who PTs the Jamaican fucking Olympic sprinting team, and...shit, what choices did I make?

Fandom means never having to say "But where would I wear that?"

Timelies all!

Congrats to Emmett!

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Based on my experience of having an umm friend who was an anatomy major, that should set him up well with the ladies.

Ahhhh. Suddenly one side of my jaw is making noises in my ear (ie, not loud cracking noises, but slidey awful only-hearable-by-me noises) every time I move it. Obnoxious and also disturbing.

I took the dialect test again, since I answered some of the questions wrong. Dialect guesses: Irish (Republic of)/ Canadian / US Black Vernacular / Ebonics

Native Lang: Norwegian/ English/ Dutch

I get the Irish, since most of the things I think are ungrammatical but acceptable are Newfoundland dialect things, but Norwegian??

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Series of texts I just got from my father:

I will be held up for an hour or two. I blew a tire heading to my third target The other two targets while they said they did have it didn't. Anyway I am off the road in a parking lot on S. Howell Ave. in Oak Creek. I'll be on my way after AAA gets here and replaces the tire. Their text message said they would get here between 520 and 530.

Luckily it's a beautiful day so I can just chill out in this parking in The shade

Glad I left early so I wouldn't have to do this in the dark. That would be a bummer!!!

I feel like in the same circumstances my texts would have a lot more motherfucks.

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

Unsurprisingly, my dialect guesses are American/Canadian/ US Black Vernacular. Native language: English/Dutch/German.

Norwegian??
