Observations on this weekend:

My mom is a chatterbox. I mean, I've noticed an uptick since she retired, but after sharing a room? Yeah.

My uncle Ernie is failing fast. He uses his still sharp humor to appear present, but he needs assistance to function physically and doesn't really track, but he can fake it for those unawares.

Aunt Mary is much dotterier and easily confused. She got totally confused switching rooms this morning. My mom handled her fine, but mom hugged me tight when I left and told me to please tell her or dad or josh or aunt sue if she ever gets like that and start getting drs involved. Her kids just see her a little more flaky. Um, no.

My first babysitter, 2nd or 3rd cousin Robin? Is ageless. And one of the most beautiful-hearts in the world.

I still can't believe my baby cousins are farming the family farm now.

I don't like my cousin Susan. We grew up together, same age. I love her, but. She's so brittle and catty and cruel. She loves and protects her son, has has some rough roads, but. You can have a dominant personality, be aggressive and yet not be mean. She's become mean, to people she shouldn't( and confides her awful opinions to me! I'm all that's awful and she just shrugs.

SD: still windy.

Sorry for not interacting much, I can't keep up relying on free wifi.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Oh sarameg, that sounds like the seeds of a short story right there.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Shakey shakey.

So I went to dinner at my sister's house and it was nice and family and I got to eat Real People food, and now I'm exhausted. Man. this recovery thing sucks.

K is really happy about the Kings' win. Sigh. I thought we might be OVER hockey.

It reminds me of when the Ducks won when Grace and Noah were just born.

Unusually and exceedingly peculiar and altogether quite impossible to describe

K is really happy about the Kings' win. Sigh. I thought we might be OVER hockey.

There are a series of posts on my FB friendslist that are vague and yet full of distressed emotion (e.g., "Noooooo!" or "I can't believe that just happened!").

I have NO IDEA if they're about hockey or Game of Thrones. And since I don't watch either, I may never know. It's a little amusing to me to guess who is watching hockey and who is watching GoT.
