Why the fuck here, of all places?
Because to a certain demographic of loony tunes, the people you serve are obviously the ones who look at abortion as birth control because they're too stupid and clueless and immoral to make "good choices." And the only way that certain demographic can think of to help is to make those lives further hell until they "see the light."
Ugh, so sorry JZ. I hate that frustrated can't do anything ragey feeling.
They've moved down the block out of the immediate sightline of the hospital, right in front of the library, and now they have a big poster. Apparently the security office is sending one person out to try to talk them into leaving, while other staff check with the legal dept on whether buffer zone laws apply to our facility.
I'm kind of shocked by how incoherently furious I am. I couldn't even trust myself to walk anywhere near them when I had to go back across the street.
Timelies all!
I'm sorry you had to deal with that crap, JZ.
Pissed my boss off due to numerous miscommunications, had a meeting that he concluded with "don't resist me. Or I'll punch you in the face."
Yeah, if my boss said that to me, I'd be reporting that shit SO FAST.
Um, he told you not to resist him?
I'm sort of stuck on the threat of physical harm.
I tell my summer employees that if they are texting or messing with their phones I am going to smack them, but they are college kids DH coached so they don't believe me at all. I do scowl at them from time to time and they laugh and buckle down to work.
eta: I don't quite manage to put fear into young athletes a foot or more taller than me. But they do listen.
