You all who are single are sometimes like, "OMG, I have so much laundry to do! Four loads!" I do a load of laundry almost every day. Probably 8 loads a week.
HAHAHAHAHA flea you are so off base on my single person's laundry. I don't know how I have so much, I don't have costume changes all day, and yet...8 loads a week would be about right if I kept up better...
I don't feel like I have to do dishes every day, though. And I have been known to eat out just so there aren't dishes to wash.
"I know I'm not used to heat after our winter from hell, but it's got to be at least 80. If it's not 80 I'll feel like a total wuss."
I walked out the door and was all "WHY DO I FEEL LIKE I'M IN A SAUNA WHAT'S WRONG WITH ME -- oh, it's 90."
I don't know how I have so much, I don't have costume changes all day, and yet...8 loads a week would be about right if I kept up better...
Huh. I do about one load a week. Unless I'm washing my bedding, and that takes me up to a whole three loads.
Then again, I don't need a separate work wardrobe...
Some of my excess is towels, probably. I hate reusing towels, I want a fresh clean one every shower. And I am unreasonable about separating everything by color and temperature and permanent-press-or-not.
Aha. I reuse towels and I mostly wash everything on cold like a heathen. I'll hand wash stuff rather than run a load for a couple of delicate items or if I'm concerned something is going to bleed.
And I have been known to eat out just so there aren't dishes to wash.
Oh, yes. This is the real reason there are restaurants.
I have off tomorrow. I'm thinking of driving to the Air Force Museum in Dayton either tomorrow or Saturday.
Teppy and flea, are you available Friday or Saturday evening?
Flea that house is so gorgeous and I REALLY hope you get it!
Hubby religiously separates colors. I figure if it's been washed a few dozen times, it's bled as much as it's going to and will put similar colors together.
I was thinking of going to Oakley After Hours tomorrow (https://www.facebook.com/events/225796027618983/ ) and getting Dewey's Pizza (carry-out from across the street.) It is very low-key, a lot of families with kids. But the weather looks iffy, and rain would cancel the event. Saturday I work until 6 and have no plans after that. I should warn you, I am pretty boring and usually come with small children.
