It's like, in the middle of all this, I'm paranoid that you'll think I don't like poetry.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Some of my excess is towels, probably. I hate reusing towels, I want a fresh clean one every shower. And I am unreasonable about separating everything by color and temperature and permanent-press-or-not.

Aha. I reuse towels and I mostly wash everything on cold like a heathen. I'll hand wash stuff rather than run a load for a couple of delicate items or if I'm concerned something is going to bleed.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

And I have been known to eat out just so there aren't dishes to wash.

Oh, yes. This is the real reason there are restaurants.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

I have off tomorrow. I'm thinking of driving to the Air Force Museum in Dayton either tomorrow or Saturday.

Teppy and flea, are you available Friday or Saturday evening?

brillig

Hubby religiously separates colors. I figure if it's been washed a few dozen times, it's bled as much as it's going to and will put similar colors together.

I was thinking of going to Oakley After Hours tomorrow (https://www.facebook.com/events/225796027618983/ ) and getting Dewey's Pizza (carry-out from across the street.) It is very low-key, a lot of families with kids. But the weather looks iffy, and rain would cancel the event. Saturday I work until 6 and have no plans after that. I should warn you, I am pretty boring and usually come with small children.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Good luck on the house, flea!

And yay mac on the 1st trombone!

I nudged Franny toward taking chorus as her elective next year, but I think she's not going to go for it. oh well.

I drank too much last night and was hung over this morning. Yuck. Hasn't happened in decades, multiple decades. I am still beating myself up about it.

The museum has a bunch of airplanes outside--because of the rain forecast I'm thinking of hitting the museum Saturday and maybe going to the Cincinnati area after the museum closes at 5:00. I'll have to make a definite decision by later tonight.

That's OK. I don't feel like driving to Dayton and back to Chicago on the same day, so I'm thinking of getting a hotel after the museum and driving back the next day. A low-key visit would be fine.
