Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Good luck on the house, flea!

And yay mac on the 1st trombone!

I nudged Franny toward taking chorus as her elective next year, but I think she's not going to go for it. oh well.

I drank too much last night and was hung over this morning. Yuck. Hasn't happened in decades, multiple decades. I am still beating myself up about it.

Sir, it's not an offence to let your cat eat your bacon. Okay? And we don't arrest cats, I'm very sorry.

But the weather looks iffy, and rain would cancel the event.

The museum has a bunch of airplanes outside--because of the rain forecast I'm thinking of hitting the museum Saturday and maybe going to the Cincinnati area after the museum closes at 5:00. I'll have to make a definite decision by later tonight.

Saturday I work until 6 and have no plans after that. I should warn you, I am pretty boring and usually come with small children.

That's OK. I don't feel like driving to Dayton and back to Chicago on the same day, so I'm thinking of getting a hotel after the museum and driving back the next day. A low-key visit would be fine.

I’d be lying if I didn’t say that I miss them all tonight…

Hubby religiously separates colors. I figure if it's been washed a few dozen times, it's bled as much as it's going to and will put similar colors together.

Color separation is a thing that happens to other people's wardrobes. (Fabric separation, OTOH, is an art.)

Ugh, two guys here who buy and flip houses talking about all their purchases. I kind of hate them for it, only because housing is already so crazy expensive here. Oh well. I'm taking it as a sign that I should just go.

I look more rad than Lutheranism

Teppy and flea, are you available Friday or Saturday evening?

Friday we have plans, but Saturday we should be around after 7 or so. I come with a husband instead of kids, but am also low-key.

t edit Check the weather out, though -- it looks like it's going to rain all weekend here. Grumble.

You were a wrong baby who grew up wrong. The wrong kind of wrong. It's better you hear it from a friend.

Hubby religiously separates colors.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

That house is gorgeous, flea. It looks like the "after" shots from a home renovation show. I hope you get it.

Black, white, b&w stripe, reds and pinks. Anything that doesn't sort into those categories is Other, and all gets washed together.

Minor cool thing about the house - in the living room, behind a picture that's now been taken down, there's a small swath of original plaster with, handwritten in pencil, "Mathews, plaster man, 1896."

Minor weird/not good thing about the house - there's a tiny room that used to have a toilet in it on the 2nd floor, and currently has nothing in it. It's basically a little tiled empty room with a pipe sticking out of the wall.

This house likes carrots, and we haven't even bought it.
