I get to leave home an hour later
An hour of your time is worth more than $10.
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.

Loved the house. It has off-street parking, 2 spaces off the alley behind (it has an alley!) Waiting on price analysis from our realtor, and mr. flea to gather his nerve, to write up an offer.
Yay, flea! Best of luck.
$10 to leave an hour later does seem like a good deal, Dana.
Fingers crossed, flea! It looked great.
I just resent the fact that the garage costs that much. When I started, it was $5! Admittedly, that was 1998.
I just found out that I will have a pension! The law firm I worked at in the '90s, apparently, has a pension plan. I had no idea. I get $129.00 per month once I retire. Not a lot of money, but WAY more than NO money.
Woo, flea! Good luck!
I want to know why a pair of shoes that was perfectly comfy last summer/fall is suddenly feeling two sizes too small. Wtf, feet? You haven't changed sizes! Why don't you fit? Ow.
My feet generally do have to adjust seasonally. (I'm not sure why or how.)
WHY DISHES EVERY DAY? WHY??
Let me speak to you of laundry. You all who are single are sometimes like, "OMG, I have so much laundry to do! Four loads!" I do a load of laundry almost every day. Probably 8 loads a week.
Timelies all!
There is a stinkbug on the wall, which is fascinating the cats.
I had my last meeting of the day and went out to buy more green tea, which was my excuse to be outside. I was completely unprepared for it to be 89F! It's been so cold for so long that my body hasn't adapted. But it's kind of unpossible to be prepared for 140 degree temperature difference.
Heh. It was in the upper 70s when I left Highland Park. When I got off the train in Chicago, I noticed it felt a lot warmer. So on my walk home, I was thinking, "I know I'm not used to heat after our winter from hell, but it's got to be at least 80. If it's not 80 I'll feel like a total wuss."
I didn't know it was 89 until I saw shrift's post.
edit to remove bad apostrophe.

HAHAHAHAHA flea you are so off base on my single person's laundry. I don't know how I have so much, I don't have costume changes all day, and yet...8 loads a week would be about right if I kept up better...
I don't feel like I have to do dishes every day, though. And I have been known to eat out just so there aren't dishes to wash.
