You're wrong about River. River's not on the ship. They didn't want her here, but she couldn't make herself leave. So she melted... Melted away. They didn't know she could do that, but she did.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

That's why I like cold brew, because it's concentrated so adding ice or cream or both just makes it regular coffee strength (not to mention that I make one batch with 12 oz of coffee grounds and it lasts me for a good couple-three weeks (or, even lazier, buying Trader Joe's bottles of cold-brewed coffee, which I think last even longer)). And making it into popsicles tastes fantastic. I don't know if I have bothered making iced coffee since trying popsicles.

Although I also love my Aeropress and my various french presses and will occasionally whip out the stovetop espresso machine or moka coffee maker. And there's Turkish coffee, which is good times.

I like coffee.

And didn't read the article. So possibly not actually on topic.

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

Those TJs bottles are awesome. I need to remember to stock up. I use them for first hot cup of coffee in the morning sometimes if I don't have the energy to fresh brew right away.

The artist formerly associated with cupcakes.

Stumptown cold brew has ruined me for all other bottled cold brew coffee. Which is a shame, because the TJs bottles are a better deal.

... Now I want cold coffee. I blame you people.

I haven't even tried Stumptown cold brew! It's been a goodly while since I've been to Portland and done the Stumptown pilgrimage...

Yeah, for the coffee you need in your system before you are safe to make coffee, they are fantastic.

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Coffee: Incredibly difficult to brew correctly, and even if you do it's still pretty crappy.

Go team tea!

I find tea to be more finicky to brew what with the different temperatures for different types. But both are delicious and have their places in my daily beverage consumption.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

If a relatively distant family member references John Gault (sic) in a reply to a FB post about raising the minimum wage, it's totally acceptable for me to beat the shit out of him, right? Metaphorically speaking.

this mess was yours / now your mess is mine

Making coffee at night stills feels funny sometimes, though, right?

I'm actually totally used to it now; it's just part of the before-bed routine. What's weird is on vacation with other people, making coffee in the morning. I'm all "Where is my cup of cold coffee from the fridge?!?"

"It didn't taste good. It tasted soooo horrible. It tasted like....a vodka martini." - Matilda

I wouldn't insist on metaphorically.

Yeah, the more I think about it, the angrier I get. But he's out of range.
