Hubby and I wear the same length of jeans. He's nearly a foot taller than I. Then again, he also has extra vertebra.

Woman Within has betrayed me, I bought a skirt of the exact same size and length and style as another one that is the perfect length, but this one is 4 inches longer. I bought a pair of pants from them that were also petite, and they're nearly six inches longer than my legs. Petite is marketed for short people! I don't want to hem! Unfortunately, it's been months since I bought them, so complaining about it now is stupid. I've just been staring at them and glowering about I have nice dress wide-leg pants that I don't wear because I hate hemming.

I'm terrifically busy with my ennui.

I think the world is just lucky we wear clothes at all.

Why did Darth Vader cross the road? To get to the Dark Side!

Why can't women get waist/hip/length sizing?!

what shrift says X100

Also? Regulars used to fit perfectly, then they got too long. I refuse to believe that everyone else got taller.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Petites are often too long for me. I buy "petite short" whenever I see it in my size, pretty much, because that usually works for me. And I can't be bothered to hem.

Reltaedly, today's jeans have perfectly fine front pockets - same brand and maker and size (maybe not style but I'm not sure)as the ones that I was complaining about last week. IDEK.

I must obey the inscrutable exhortations of my soul—Calvin and Hobbs

I've found the holy grail of jeans--a size and style that consistently fits ok. Levis changes some of the detail on them, but usually not in a terribly obnoxious way. Still, the last pair I bought had fake pocket flaps on the back pockets. The pockets themselves are the same usable size and position as all the others. But they have these useless snap flaps stitched on the top, outside pocket edge. Are they supposed to confuse pick pockets?

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Also? Regulars used to fit perfectly, then they got too long. I refuse to believe that everyone else got taller.

Yeah, inseams have gotten a lot longer, and I love it! I just looked it up, and the jeans I think are a scosh short for me are 33" in the regular length. That's long!

What Jesse said. There are actually pants for sale now with inseams too long for me! I need a 34 inch inseam and some regulars are that long. I have seen talls at 36 inches! (Which I guess I would like if I wore heels.)

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

See, I cannot wear dresses off the rack for the most part, because they are too short through the torso

I have this issue sometimes. But hey! Stealth empire!

Always Anti-fascist!

People who worry *that much* about what other people eat should perhaps consider a hobby. Meara, I think I read that book. Kind of had the same thought, too, although maybe she gets really fixated on unavailable men, and holds out?Like, after a certain point, is it better to have a real-life experience or hold out for the rose-petal thing?

Have inseams gotten longer because of stacked shoes, I wonder?
