Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Thanks, Amy! I've been queuing your stuff, which is great. I've actually had great internet access this trip.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

Scola, I leave NY at 1:45 on Saturday morning and my sister an hour after that. Maybe we can do brekkie? Jessica, is that something you could do? (I'm not missing any other NYers, am I?)

I guilted my sister into paying for a hotel because I said I have to. I feel bad, but I admit I don't want to take the whole hit. It's a single person room, but they'll be putting a sofabed in there in case sleeping in a king with her makes my insomnia worse. She doesn't have to stay with me, but I can't get her not to.

One of our uncles offered his place (not sure how near). I told them I already had a Right There offer, but am flinchily protecting a bolthole. I don't even want to see family that's not coming to the viewing or the funeral. It's just so much, flying out and turning right back around. I'll just want to curl up with or without an internet connection.

We have a hotel a mile and a half away from Remsen and Court . What's the best way to get from JFK to there? And by best, I clearly mean dirt cheapest, because, ouch.

Jesse, I find my devices have a hard time changing time zones. I'm not sure what it is about time servers and the checking of.

Suzi, good on you for going back.

Zen--you followed me on twitter? I probably won't post anything there except stuff I'm trying not to doxx my fandom persona on. I don't tweet much, period, but my proper twitter handle is ita_ita_ita. I think it's an even split between pictures of my shoes and customer service complaining. AND OLD.

While talking about social media and forever ago, I'm trying to get back into LJ for fandom purposes. How ... some word that's not ironic. But SPN fanart people talk to each other there, so I'll give it a go. And now I'm signed up for the big big bang. Oh, all the things I complain about will come to fruition...

Because books.

That's a rough trip over just a couple of days, ita.

Apparently I don't remember my work password this morning. So I'm either losing my mind or I'm fired.

How hard is it to get a replacement SS card? (Also, it's ridiculous that anyone requires that piece of paper as an original anything.)

Not that hard. I got Grace's replaced this week even. The wait at the SS office was nothing, blessedly. You have to send your documentation (like a passport if you have one) and that makes it easier. They mail it back.

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

Sorry about that, sumi, what a pain. Iwas surprised how easy it was for me to replace my SS card, but the office is five blocks from my house, so.

Oh, I hate that, shrift. Every morning the computer takes its time booting up and I vaguely wonder if today I'm fired and this is how I find out...

Remember that the frontier of the Rebellion is everywhere. And even the smallest act of insurrection pushes our lines forward.

Scola, I leave NY at 1:45 on Saturday morning.

That's Saturday afternoon, right?

Maybe we can do brekkie?

Most likely. I'm volunteering at the Brooklyn Zine Fest this weekend, but it looks like they need me on Sunday rather than Saturday, but that could change at the last minute.

We have a hotel a mile and a half away from Remsen and Court . What's the best way to get from JFK to there?

The A train to Howard Beach to AirTrain is the cheapest, how convenient it is depends on where the hotel is.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

I have an appointment this morning to talk with CJ's advisor this morning - going over the fact that he is failing 4 classes (yes, you read that right). Need to figure out his options and if we need to put together an IEP due to his ADHD. Big time stuff.

Earlier I got a call from the school secretary that she is out today and they don't know when she will be back and would I like to meet with one of the other advisors. If things weren't so critical, I'd wait for her return because she KNOWS CJ and knows what we have gone through and what his goals are. Now I have huge trepidation over the meeting.

(There is also a piece of my brain that is trying to ignore when my HS advisor was out unexpectedly and ended up dead of walking pnumonia.)

And aww, fuck, it looks like they're working on the A Train this weekend. Nothing is going to be convenient.

Every now and then, I think I might actually be a little odd.

Zen--you followed me on twitter? I probably won't post anything there except stuff I'm trying not to doxx my fandom persona on. I don't tweet much, period

I did. I can't follow any more people on Twitter who post a lot! I can't keep up as it is.
