I like the house, but possibly my notions of livability are skewed, since from 1985 - 1992 we had no kitchen sink drain, and dumped our dishwater in the yard, had no cold water in the bathroom sink, and had to turn the hot water in the tub on in the basement each time we needed to shower/bathe.
I keep getting annoyed that we have a HIPAA mascot at work and it is a zebra! Wouldn't you make your HIPAA mascot a Hippo!?!

It's a zebra because there's so much reading between the lines.
Any excuse is a good excuse for a zebra.
Husband has come home to help with the taxes. Right now, his help consists of creating many piles of paper on the floor. Organized piles of paper.
I like the funky stonework. I bet there's a story behind it. Snellville, east of Atlanta, was founded by the Snells, who were stonemasons who quarried Stone Mountain. The buildings they built are all this very distinctive crazy-quilt of every shape of stone.
I need to finish my taxes. I am being a horrible procrastinator.
At the moment I'm waiting at the doctors office to get my hand checked. It has been almost two weeks since I slammed the door of my hand and I still see stars if I bump those fingers against anything.
Now on hold with the IRS with a question. The funny thing is, we might actually get money back this year, since husband was out of work at the beginning of it and I was out of work at the end.
If you are getting money back then today really isn't a deadline for you. April 15th really only applies if you owe taxes.
Yeah, but I'm not convinced yet, because we're not done entering everything. And once we're done entering everything, which will determine whether or not we owe, we're pretty much ready to file.
I know I owe. Just need to get in some final numbers. Blah.
