Okay, um, I'm lost. Uh, I'm angry, and I'm armed, so if you two have something that you need to work out --

I can't really say I LIKE running...I like when I can say I have run? I like after a race being like 'woohoo, i just ran"? Or beforehand when there's a bazillion people milling around all excited?

t, good luck--I find it so weird how sometimes I can go and do the exact same workout (usually elliptical) and yet do SO differently on it--Friday I had a hard time slogging through it and my heartrate kept going way too high, and Saturday it was super easy and my heartrate wouldnt' go high enough! Bizarre, body.

I set my alarm for 7:30AM, and only remembered as it went off that I had a 7:30AM meeting. Oops. Luckily I work from home, so raced upstairs, logged in, called in on my cell, and then went downstairs to make my coffee. Don't have any food, so will have to hope this is not a 2.5 hour meeting as promised.

And then Ortus came and said "It's Ortin' time" and they all Orted off into the sunset

I'm always surprised by how much I love running, when I come back to it after a break. I'm slow and fat and have bad knees, and yet somehow running is my sport of choice (when I can't get to a pool).

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

My sister got as far as a half marathon, and swims an unholy distance, but likes neither. You want discipline, homegirl's got it. And she's never had an endorphin high.

That's completely foreign psychology to me.

In fact, I don't know if I know anyone more disciplined.

Good Wife: I don't like how they're writing Kalinda. She went from being uber-cool to being inscrutable and the bisexual who can't keep their pants on. At least her wardrobe continues to rock. It's my second favourite on TV, if I had to choose one for everyday. I think I'd go with Joan Watson's first (she did inspire a Pinterest addiction for a hot second, not to mention I did go about recreating at least one of her looks, something I've never consciously done before). Whose wardrobe would you take to be your one and only wardrobe?

I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

I am also really grateful to have discovered the scary finger shoes. They make me feel so sproingy! Like (I think it was) the beginning of Dandelion Wine with the wonderful description of how magical new shoes are. If that is all in my head, I am okay with that.

Ahhhhh! Don't speak of the fingertoes!

(My sister is now evaluating her writing the paper, so she and her friend/colleague can present at the conference.)

Kalinda's wardrobe is totally the one I want, though it wouldn't really suit my looks or my lifestyle. I am not sure where they are going with her right now, but I am interested to find out. I feel like I almost get what's going on with her, but last time I thought I did (when her ex-husband was in town ) I think the text eventually nixed my understanding.

I adore that AMC show that Alicia was marathoning from her Bed of Depression.

Was that the same show she was watching with her daughter with The Wire music? I totally missed it this week.

Yeah, I think so. The white hats with black linings, etc. really spoke to me

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

Wardrobe-wise, right now I'm thinking Jessica from Suits, but maybe that's just because I watched it yesterday. And only if my figure were way more Gina Torres-ish.

From The Good Wife, come to find out, I want Alicia's sofa

That is nice. Didn't you already decide on a sofa?
