When I found out my boss was going to be let go, I took her out for expensive girly drinks. But I suspect I like my boss rather more than you do, and will miss her more.

msbelle, my boss was demoted two years ago and he still will not tell us what his new title is.
I am totally capable of getting along with my my boss while simultaneously wishing she diaf. I hate her with dispassion. I nothing her. I just want her to go away and stop impeding my work life. I'll be taking on a few extra responsibilities with her gone, but I'm not losing anything at all, such is her impact on the workload. Googly googly begone!
Sue, that's kind of hilarious.
All of this shit (and the similar I've experienced) is why I don't understand why several of my coworkers are currently dissatisfied with our boss. She's fine!
share our stories with them, Jesse. MAKE them understand.
Woo to the hoo, ran my fastest mile evah!* 15:32
'* for values of "evah" that equal since I've been tracking my runs with Nike+, which is apparently since 2006 BUT could very well be actually ever because I was never fast, even when I was in good shape. Fastest on record, afaik.
I am sorry to hear about TWOP, esp for you and your DH's sake, Jessica.
The massively bad communication by various bosses around here makes me want to thank my boss for merely being not good at communicating.
The big news here is that the kids' bus was over an hour late today because the bus driver wasn't there at end of day, and the school kept them up at the campus instead of putting them on one of the other buses. So annoying!
Go, -t!
Ooh, that is annoying, Burrell.
ION, I think I might adopt a rabbit. Towards the beginning of our run, we went past a lady with two rabbits in cages at her front yard, and we paused to chat, and she said she had rescued 27 rabbits (didn't get the details) and they'll be spayed/neutered and ready to adopt next week. I mentioned I had probably not rabbit-friendly cats (Walter was sniffing around the cages and they were clearly not bothered by him) and she said she had cats and the rabbits didn't seem to care. So, thinking about it.
