Hey, Lisah!
Will you enable my laziness and send/post the links for the bike ride, for both you and Bob?

But, of course!

I somehow wasn't able to vote for Grace but was able to pledge money? Which I did! I'll try to vote for her on my work computer tomorrow.
I have definitely been onerousing lately. Things I have accomplished in the past three days:
On tomorrow's agenda: make the (hopefully!) final phone call re: retirement accounts, send out the envelopes, take out glass recycling, vacuum kitchen, mop, meet friend for lunch, plan lessons for the fourth-grade classes I'm taking over for the rest of the year. Maybe go for a walk?
Shit, I'm tired, but it feels great to be getting all this stuff done. I definitely need to put in more time on the actual work stuff tomorrow and Friday, though. Spring break, woo!
Trunk full of dress up clothes is an awesome gift!
Thanks! I'm super excited about it. Some of it won't fit her for a while, but I found several things at Goodwill today that she can wear now. She's gotten some random costumey things over the last couple of years from grandparents, too, and I spread the word to family that I was doing a dress-up trunk, and would welcome their contributions. I also tossed in a bunch of stuff I'd picked up on my travels that I have no use for now but that will be fun for her to play with, plus a few pieces of costume jewelry and the terrible wig I bought this past Halloween.
We had a trunk full of dress-up clothes when I was a kid, and I still remember some of the bizarre things it contained. My brother and I got YEARS of enjoyment out of that stuff.
That's a fantastic gift, Kate. And go you with the getting stuff done!
Thanks Lisa!
That is an awesome idea, Kate!
Such an awesome idea. We have some costumes we could send. My kids never really did dress up or imaginative play like that at home. They are more of a game with rules sort of bunch.
When I was a kid, my sister and I had bunk beds and the base had two huge drawers. One of those drawers was full of dress up clothes, and it was great. I forget what was in the other drawer, probably toys of some sort.
