I have definitely been onerousing lately. Things I have accomplished in the past three days:
- Multiple phone calls to the three companies who hold my retirement accounts from my last three jobs, plus a bonus call to the company I am rolling everything over to; multiple forms filled out; two envelopes addressed and ready to go out in the mail tomorrow (need to make one more call before the last one is ready).
- Have basically finished Rose's birthday gift: a trunk full of dress-up clothes. Acquired the trunk via Craigslist; found some clothes at Goodwill; found more stuff in our closets; washed everything and put it all in the trunk.
- Four loads of laundry (including dress-up stuff, also couch cover and three chair cushions that have been sitting on the dryer for several months), all dried, folded, and put away.
- Two loads in the dishwasher (second ongoing), plus organized our mountain of Tupperware and tossed a bunch of stuff in the recycling bin.
- Took out trash & recycling, took a few boxes down to the basement, got glass recycling ready to go tomorrow (no curbside pickup; I'll take it to the recycling place on my way back from dropping off Rose at daycare).
- Vacuumed the whole house, except the kitchen (which I will do tomorrow, along with mopping).
- Cleaned both bathrooms.
- Replaced a couple of burnt-out bulbs.
- Returned some library books.
- Went grocery shopping.
- Spent a few hours on work stuff, reading book reviews and putting an order together.
On tomorrow's agenda: make the (hopefully!) final phone call re: retirement accounts, send out the envelopes, take out glass recycling, vacuum kitchen, mop, meet friend for lunch, plan lessons for the fourth-grade classes I'm taking over for the rest of the year. Maybe go for a walk?
Shit, I'm tired, but it feels great to be getting all this stuff done. I definitely need to put in more time on the actual work stuff tomorrow and Friday, though. Spring break, woo!
