Sorry. we had an earthquake (clearly). I am excited about the raised beds. I am never actually going to assemble them unless they come in some sort of easy system. Also, I am irresponsible and need an drip irrigation system. So this all seems perfect for me!
Natter 72: We Were Unprepared for This
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
How the heck did I miss the earthquake? I was up and about but felt nothing.
Pix, it was in Westwood. Not a lot of shaking here (just a little) but way more rumbling.
We have rented a plot in a community garden for this summer. Hoping we'll be more successful growing veggies there than we are at home!
I'm working at home today. I just can't even try with the stuff out there. Fortunately, Bob is in town this week and he took care of morning dog walking and shoveling/cleaning off the cars. I'll have to go out eventually because we had a bunch of baked goods leftover from a fundraising event we had last night and I left them in the car with the intention of bringing them into work today. I need to go liberate a rice krispie treat!
The earthquake is all over Twitter. Here we just have more lousy snow.
I guess I should be grateful that we have no natural phenomena of note here -- just sunny and cold.
Tales from medical editing: here's a phrase you NEVER want to hear -- "airway fire".
NOPE NOPE NOPE.
YIKES.
I am also pro drip irrigation, on general principles. I need to fix mine since the manifold sheared off the faucet in front. That ready to assemble stuff is neat.
I have mixed feelings about earthquakes, snow, and weather in general. I am against airway fires.
Probably need more coffee.
I'm trying to imagine what "airway fire" means and realizing I probably shouldn't be.
