Am I supposed to be changing my clothes a lot? Is that the helpful thing to do?

"I keep to a strict diet of ill-advised enthusiasm and heartfelt regret." Leigh Bardugo

First of all, Lee, Charlie (charley?) looks adorable post groomer!

I have a new goal. I might want to learn to play a string instrument like the cello. Wouldn't that be useful/fun or just stressful?

I have to go back to school officially tomorrow. And I'm pretty BLAH on the whole thing, and there is a scheduling fuck up and a giant grant renewal ($1.5 million) is due Monday at noon and I only started working on it on Friday because I only received it last Wednesday. I need to find a way to be more zen and less emotionally invested in work.

Noah and Grace also go back to school tomorrow. So I plan on walking them to school -- Noah is in a 1-2 split class and Grace has the teacher everyone loves. Grace has her friend I. in her class. Noah, I'm worried about.

We'll survive it, right? It's only 40 more weeks.

Woe to the fucking wicked.

Jesse, said minister would need to be very game for ridiculousness, as the item involves preaching in a church against GISHWHES and GISHWHESians.

Days shrink and grow cold, sunlight through leaves is my song. Winter is long.

I dream of shaded blue glass tile in the shower, dark to light, rising. And a blue-glass vessel sink.

Kitchen, butcher block counters, plain straight-front pale birch cabinets, and white or black appliances. I'd love stained concrete floors; failing that, terrazo.

My fridge in the old house was chocolate. I loved it! I've never seen another that color.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

The wood is..blonde, Jesse? Glass panels on one side--badly planned. Sorry, but the side near the oven gets the food, the side further from the oven gets the dishes. So you can see my baking powder behind smoked glass.

Stone tile in the shower definitely makes this the best bathroom I've had in terms of appearance

This is another thing that swayed me. They're now refinishing floors in hardwood, and I wish I'd gotten that. My carpet is in dire need of professional help.

as the item involves preaching in a church against GISHWHES and GISHWHESians.

I guess the question there becomes, how big does his audience have to be??

If my roommate agrees to stand-up paddleboarding lessons next week, I could work on the surfboards one, but so far she hasn't agreed.

Because books.

What about an internet minister and an outdoor church?

Woe to the fucking wicked.

meara, the audience does not need to be shown, as it's no more than a 30 second video.

"And to be clear, I am the hell. And the high water."

One surfer on each of two surfboards, holding connected tin can telephones. Bonus points for style.

Debet, I can't help with this. Sorry about that. My boss is a surfer, but I don't think I can ask him this.
