Yay, Liese!
For everyone's information, I pinged Matt TBF on FB, and he's fine. He's been spending time at his parents' house, where they don't have internet.

Brenda this one is not cabin-like on the inside, but it is on one acre and doesn't look to be close to much. [link]
Yay for no longer having the potential for medical bankruptcy!
Yay is right!
I also bought all the things! At least, all the things I've been wanting: rug for the living room (too small, but the colors are right), pillow for the kitchen, new duvet. Woo!
So, I recently discovered I like falafel. I had tried it before and not liked it, and I could never figure out why, because I like everything that makes it up, but whatever -- life is too short, right? Well, some friends wanted to have it recently, and maybe the version I had before was just bad, because that shit is delicious!
In short, I just had some falafel.
Falafel is only really good if it's fresh out of the fryer. I've had versions that tried to be healthy (because vegan, I guess?) by baking them instead, and they were totally unappealing.
I've had baked falafel that was good. I even like cold leftover falafel, though, so maybe my threshold for okay falafel is pretty low. But fresh out of the fryer with the perfect balance of spices is really extraordinarily delicious.
