I am a woman of various inclinations and only some of the time are they to burn everything down in frustration

After 3 cups of coffee, 3 cups of tea, and 4 pieces of chocolate, I should really be more awake than this.

Beds, fridge, w&d left at old place. Time to do another run!

Happy birthday, Theo and Jesse!

And thanks for all the birthday wishes!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I was just thinking I should be eating more cheese, but I guess I did just have two varieties of cheese for post-theater snack. One in spinach-artichoke dip, and neufchatel in a torta. MMMMMM.

'we all walk this earth feeling we are frauds. The trick is to be grateful and hope the caper doesn't end any time soon"

Had chicken Marsala for a birthday dinner, which is close to my ideal of culinary heaven. I wonder if I could make it at home?

If you're going through hell/keep on going/don't slow down/keep your fear from showing/you might be gone/'fore the devil even knows you're there

It's pretty easy actually. But get good Marsala, not the cooking stuff you get at the grocery.

Swear to god, it's a good thing I only have one brother because only he & my SIL with walking pneumonia get me to break my vow to never move furniture again. We're mostly done. One more big load, then the fiddly. And unpacking, but I'll miss most of that.

Can you hire msbelle to go unpack them?

I only had cheese as part of two meals today. I am slacking.

Hi Rayne! Many happy returns!

I meant to spend some of Boxing Day breaking down boxes (mostly because I still have many boxes to break down) but that didn't happen.

We are Buffistas. This isn't our first apocalypse. -- Pix

Golly, I'm wiped out, and I did hardly anything today. But just being in the presence of three highly-intelligent sub-six-year-olds is exhausting over the course of a day.

We did however get a great deal of fun out of the Hot Wheels, and then the kids got a ride on the dog cart pulled by the St. Bernard, and then there was an expedition to my SIL's rental with a huge meal and lots and lots of German candy, and lots of really good wine for the grownups.

Now I'm crashed on the couch, thinking about watching the Dr. Who Christmas special, but not really willing to move to the living room...
