It's pretty easy actually. But get good Marsala, not the cooking stuff you get at the grocery.

Swear to god, it's a good thing I only have one brother because only he & my SIL with walking pneumonia get me to break my vow to never move furniture again. We're mostly done. One more big load, then the fiddly. And unpacking, but I'll miss most of that.
Can you hire msbelle to go unpack them?
I only had cheese as part of two meals today. I am slacking.
Hi Rayne! Many happy returns!
I meant to spend some of Boxing Day breaking down boxes (mostly because I still have many boxes to break down) but that didn't happen.
Golly, I'm wiped out, and I did hardly anything today. But just being in the presence of three highly-intelligent sub-six-year-olds is exhausting over the course of a day.
We did however get a great deal of fun out of the Hot Wheels, and then the kids got a ride on the dog cart pulled by the St. Bernard, and then there was an expedition to my SIL's rental with a huge meal and lots and lots of German candy, and lots of really good wine for the grownups.
Now I'm crashed on the couch, thinking about watching the Dr. Who Christmas special, but not really willing to move to the living room...

Unintelligent ones are worse, I assure you.
That sounds fun,'Suela, especially the Hot Wheels!
You know what? If I'm tired enough to want to go to sleep at 8:30, fuck it, I'm going to. YOLO.
Damn right, -t. Stick it to the man.
So I'm in my BFF's wedding on Sunday. And holy god, remind me to elope. Because if i had my way, all the tables would be bare and there would be none of this ridiculous "we are making centerpieces and things to go down the aisle and also welcome bags for everyone and bags for the kids during the wedding, and and and" Jesus. (Also, I luckily noticed the typo on the "itinerary" in the "welcome bags" that said the wedding was Saturday, not Sunday. Of course, that then meant we had to go back to Kinko's and reprint all of them (which was a whole other cluster). Aaaaagh. This is the sort of thing where I think "yes, I'm girly on the outside, but so not on the inside"
Yeah, I don't like this party favor biz.
The party IS the favor. We feed you cake! You show up. Party ensues. Go home!
Also, hire movers.
Or maybe that is just me. Waiting for the last goddamn load of laundry * in this house to finish.
- realty gods willing, we did a midnight drive by and the staging furniture is still there. My ill SIL flatly stated that either it is gone, they now own it or they'll rent them storage at $100/day. There is a nice piece or two there....
