Thanks, everyone! And a happy birthday to Theo and Rayne!
My day has been pretty good so far! Fancy breakfast, hanging out with some family friends, now some errands, and a show later. Nice! I'm going to have a dinner party over the weekend with some friends, to properly celebrate the big 4-0.
Happy Birthday Theo, Jesse, and Rayne!
I'm hanging out with my sister and niece before heading to the airport. Every time I visit it becomes clearer that moving to MI would be a good thing for me. Now I just need to combine that with employment.
Happy birthday Jesse, Theo & Rayne!
I'm at work AND DON'T WANT TO BE.
Holidays are gonna be hard for my mom for a few years.
Yes. We lost my father's mother at Christmas and it was hard for a long time. It was a good and bad kind of hard though. The sweetness in the bittersweet moments is worth clinging to.
Was it refined sugar? Sugar in processed foods? Just sugar? Woes! I'm not actually done with all my pie yet!
Yeah, that is hard, Trudy, but that's a nice sentiment.
We had an awkward tablet moment too, this Christmas, because mom & dad have a ton of airline points, so they wanted to spend them and called me up for advice. We chose a nice iPad Air for dad, which he got, but they still have points left over, so they offered to get me one too, yay! We're waiting on the rewards store to stock the Retina mini. But she's buying one for me and not for my sister, so while I was having them set dad up w/ the giftcard we'd sent them, I had to avoid talking about my incoming one, because I don't know if my sister knows about it or not!

Basically any sugar that isn't naturally in a food (like in fruit or milk). (I mean, I suppose sugar is naturally in sugar cane, but that's not really what they mean.)
Yes, yes, that is what they mean! I can chew on raw sugar cane and it will all be fine!
(Ha, though, my dad grew up on a sugar cane plantation and they actually did all do this. It's amazing any of them have their teeth.)

Would that count as fiber? Fiber is good for you! t /rationalizations R us
