Pre-official close move-in. Personally, I would be leery, but the seller is highly motivated, it's just the lenders' and holiday schedules that turned the actual close date into a moving target. I do wish the warranty folk had the same definition of emergency service as I do( may not realize this contractor is not 24/7?) but that will be discussed later. I can't complain about the cost.

Judge Shelby opted not to put a stay on marriages in Utah (not surprising as he issue the first ruling, I guess). So now the 10th District Court has to weigh in. In the meantime, gay marriages for all who want them!

Utah's AG's request for a stay of the same-sex marriages that are currently taking place has been denied. Though my own county's County Clerk is refusing to issue licenses because he wants to see what the next judicial jurisdiction up says to the request for a stay that's heading to Denver now. Other County Clerk office are swamped.
The state's argument for the stay: the people getting married will have their lives harmed when their marriages are invalidated when the state finally gets its way and can stop this outrage from continuing. So because the state cares about those families' pain, they want to stop them from getting married.
