I am pleased that I actually got stuff done on my lunch run.
I now have mac's Christmas gift WHOOT! I need a little something for my dad, a big something for my mom, and stuff for the brother and future bil. Oh and grandma who NEEDS NOTHING and WANTS NOTHING.
I am gonna fall asleep at my desk in this last hour with out some distractions. This is what happens when I eat lunch at 2:30.
We just took a quick break to eat doughnuts and drink beer and put festive decorations on our cubicals.
I downloaded a crapton of Sayer and Heyer ebooks last night thanks to the Kindle sale. I would like to go home now and start reading them.
Maybe I should finish my beer first.
Oh thank god -- my new boss emailed me about my first day, and she would be there by 8. I was like, "....so should I plan to be there at 8 [please say no, please say no]?" Luckily, she said that 9 is fine.
I can barely come up with an idea for my father, and as happens every year, it is suddenly a surprise that I have to come up with two ideas! Because it is also his birthday.
I used up my one good gift idea for my Dad's birthday last week, so now I'm stuck on what to get him for Christmas. Maybe Garrett's cheese popcorn.

Suddenly I'm feeling kinda off. Muscle aches, stomach aches. I'm also cold, though I don't know if that's just me, or if it is cold up here.
I had that yesterday, Sheryl. I feel better today.
At least I was until I found out that a former student of mine was killed in a traffic accident. She was 26 and one of the kindest, most beautiful souls I've ever met.
