I downloaded a crapton of Sayer and Heyer ebooks last night thanks to the Kindle sale. I would like to go home now and start reading them.
Maybe I should finish my beer first.
Oh thank god -- my new boss emailed me about my first day, and she would be there by 8. I was like, "....so should I plan to be there at 8 [please say no, please say no]?" Luckily, she said that 9 is fine.
I can barely come up with an idea for my father, and as happens every year, it is suddenly a surprise that I have to come up with two ideas! Because it is also his birthday.
I used up my one good gift idea for my Dad's birthday last week, so now I'm stuck on what to get him for Christmas. Maybe Garrett's cheese popcorn.

At least I was until I found out that a former student of mine was killed in a traffic accident. She was 26 and one of the kindest, most beautiful souls I've ever met.
