Yay Sue!
I am finally up and breakfasted. Coffee is slow to kick in though. My friend was like "ooh, you said you had a costco membership and we are out of toile paper, let's go!" Until I asked her if she really wanted to be there on black friday. And she was like "oh. Shit."
HA! Hell no to costco on black friday.
K asked me what I wanted to do after we dropped sara off. I said anything that does not require entering a place where shopping is occurring.
So we are taking Noah for a bike ride. And then coming home and making pajama bottoms. And otherwise chilling!
Addendum: I always have room for green chile.
Oh, Jesus help me, we're going shopping. Sigh.
Right now, I'm just biding time until the football game Monday night, where I can retire in seclusion and stress about football.

Oh, poor Dana.
Sue, I'm glad it went okay! Best of luck.
Me, I'm going to walk the dog for about an hour, and do some laundry, and pay bills, and then go get my hair cut and possibly bleached. I died it dark for the last six months to help the job search, but it hasn't helped and I don't like it. It faded to lighter brown, the dye changed the texture too much, and I just don't like it anymore.
So today I'm going to get it cut really short and probably bleached so it's all bright white. Just for the hell of it.
In other news: did people know that the public transit subsidy (where you can use pre-tax dollars to pay your bus/train/subway fares) is being cut in half at New Year? Congress hasn't renewed it, and probably won't. But the pre-tax subsidy for parking is safe.
Woops: and I had pumpkin pie and a bit of leftover-pastry-roll for breakfast. Not much, though: I'm still full from yesterday.

Yeah, I heard that on NPR. WTF, Congress.
I had some leftover soufganiyot and cornbread for breakfast. (Soufganiyot = Chanukah donuts. My grandmother used to make them. These ones, we got from a vegan food truck, so they're all fancy -- topped with lemon sugar, and filled with raspberry lavender jam.)
Those sound awesome, Hil.
Mm, those do sound good. I had a very healthy egg here fritata I made yesterday, but then I had two pieces of toast with lemon curd. Because mmm, lemon curd.
Next I have to go be fitted to my bridesmaid dress by my friend's mom. Who thought being fitted the day after Thanksgiving was a good idea?!?
I want to go shopping but not with crowds. More just want regular "hey I'm on vacation and with a friend lets hit the mall" kind of thing. Not possible this weekend though. Ah well.
