Timelies all!
Later today we head up to DarkoverCon. It's the last one(The person who had run the con for many years died earlier this year, and she was the only one allowed to use the name Darkover. There will be a con Thanksgiving weekend next year, in the same hotel, but it will have a different name.) featuring the final Clam Chowder concert.
Apple pie for breakfast: good... or less than ideal nutrition?
Apple pie is a classic breakfast food! The only question is, added cheddar cheese or not?
I'm not sure I actually need breakfast today. Maybe I'll wait a bit before I eat, see if I get hungry.
Yeah, I'm not so sure I'm ready for food yet either. But I have a long flight will have to pack something ( it's SW and I won't survive on snack packs alone.)
Wish me jobma, this thing should start any minute now.
We only had a few people so instead of a full turkey I made these [link] turkey legs braised in red wine. It was delicious, and made fantastic gravy.
I still have a wing to do something with, which will end up in the stock pot if I don't come up with a better idea.

I thought about making that, brenda. Good to know it's as tasty as it sounds - I think I sometimes see turkey legs for sale without the rest of the bird, although not this week.
