"Faded like the lilac, he thought."

Did you link that recipe? I couldn't remember who, but yes, they are amazing.

And whaaaat? That's wild. Science, let me show you it. I love when things confuse scientists and then they get all excited because data.

Sue, I am on Skype and have sent you a contact request.

Thanks msbelle. I heard my ipad ringing downstairs, but I was in bed and too lazy to get up. But now we can gab other times!

Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

I must actually still be full from yesterday, because I just had an egg for breakfast and am now stuffed again! Yikes.

Also, a childhood friend apparently was shopping from 6pm yesterday until 6am this morning. That sounds crazy to me on so many levels -- I couldn't shop for any stretch of 12 hours, much less through the night!

I was feeling calm about my interview and then they emailed me to tell me they had given me the wrong time. It's an hour earlier than I thought. Damn time zones.

Less time to get nervous, I guess.

Apple pie for breakfast: good... or less than ideal nutrition?

Now let us crush something soft and watch it fountain blood. That is a girlish thing to want to do, yes?

Apple pie every day, maybe not. But apple pie for day-after-thanksgiving breakfast? Required.

Ann, that's a ferret.

For today, I'd say it's both.

Our wings are not tired.

That's terrific, Matt!

I had apple/almond stuffing and cranberry relish for breakfast. Nom.

The turkey was seriously overcooked in part because my meat thermometer was broken. I sent Bobby for a new one and he got a liquid variety. But people ate it up, so it must have been okay. At least half of my crew is vegetarian or vegan so they were busy diverting their eyes from the carcass. My mind was not right and I messed up a few things, like the punch was disgusting, but all were well satisfied.

It is wonderful to read the holiday posts. Love and gratitude for the Buffistas.
