Pouring a proper gin and tonic was most definitely part of our upbringing.
I like the Leatherman(s), because if you have pliers, you find that you have about a hundred uses for them that you never knew you needed. They make a whole bunch of "gripping" or "getting into a tight spot" situations, much much easier.
I've somehow ended up with one Swiss Army knife, one full-size Leatherman, and two mini-"Leatherman" alternate devices (one made by Brookstone, with a dear little detachable LED flashlight). The Brookstone I carry in my purse and amazes everyone when you take it out to deal with a Situation.

Me either. The wind is actually howling. But Sara and I were given tickets to see Elf at the Walnut Street Theater (one of her friends from school is in the show), so we will be braving the weather and the city a little later.
