Same here, Amy. Per the weather app on my phone, it's 21 degrees outside. I have no desire to go verify that for myself.
Natter 72: We Were Unprepared for This
Off-topic discussion. Wanna talk about corsets, duct tape, or physics? This is the place. Detailed discussion of any current-season TV must be whitefonted.
Me either. The wind is actually howling. But Sara and I were given tickets to see Elf at the Walnut Street Theater (one of her friends from school is in the show), so we will be braving the weather and the city a little later.
Brrrr!
It somehow feels like failure to me to pull out the big coat. But I was the dope who left for school every day of the year with wet hair as a kid, so.
I surrendered and wore the big puffy coat to go to the grocery this morning, and ended up glad of it. The wind is really going here.
Timelies all!
Cold and windy here. At least I don't have to be out of the house much today.
Well, now the flight is in 2h20m, so good thing I'm packed!
OK, shutting down and doing one last run through.
::Checks temperature::
::does not say anything::
Safe travels, Sara!
I'm too cold under the sheet, but too hot under the blanket! My life is miserable, as is my plan to spend the second consecutive day in bed (I really do need to get baking supplies, but, maybe the nurse can go unfed this week?)
The nurse can certainly go unfed.
I can tell already this is going to be a long week: I just made tomato soup, but had packed all of my soup mugs, so I have to have it in a regular mug! (For some reason, I refuse to eat smooth soups with a spoon.) That said, my grilled cheese sandwich is fucking delicious, because I used a crapload of butter.
