oh yeah, it is totally illegal. I wish we ran on comptime, but we don;t, so to ask me to misrepresent my time sheet and then take time at another time while still saying I am working? totally shady and illegal. If I thought it would get him fired, I'd send that email to HR, but it would not, they would say to him "Your employee, R, has brought this to our attention - now stop it." and then I would be in a pile of shit.
and now, with no response, he has approved my half day off.
Aw Jesse, I hope they figure things out.
I had two beer after work last night. Then I ate a huge serving of pad thai, and was up for hours cleaning afterwards. And still, I am hung over today. I am pathetic.
On the plus side, my BFF is coming for an overnight visit and to do Xmas shopping. Without kids. So excited.
For once in my life, googling something medical helped -- at least I learned that there are anti-seizure drugs they give Alz patients for other reasons.
And I have a fancy sandwich for lunch. And again, not at work! Things could be worse.
HMOG, I completed 58 pieces of art yesterday (admittedly, a 15 1/2 hour day) and with this morning's work have now caught up to the editors assigning me art specs. I just hope they're not holding on to a bunch of surprise extra ones that they'll send me this afternoon and expect turned around by 5.
Matt, I'm sincerely hoping some of those "arts" are the complexity of...uh...paragraph separators and...I can't really think of anything simple enough to justify 58, honestly.
Hey, JA: [link] !
Oh hey, speaking of which (JA, I mean), Usain Bolt was on The Voice this week, in support of Tessanne Chin (and also his new book?).
huh, not kimchi for Korea.
Yikes, Jesse! I hope everything turns out okay.
I really need to go do some paperwork/banking with my dad today, but I think I have an upset stomach. Which I hope is unrelated to the seafood stew I had at a friend's house last night (because that would suck).
So for the time being I shall sit on the futon and surf the internet.
