Oven is working, but the convection motor needs replacing. Somehow this is going to end up costing me about half what the stove cost, new.
At least now I know that the igniter element is made of graphite, and that the releast of the gas is not controlled by a thermocouple, but actually depends on the amperage that is flowing through the hot glowing graphite.
