In other news, I am in the middle of the worest fibro flarup I have had in years. Ow. Owowow. Owfuckityow.
Oven is working, but the convection motor needs replacing. Somehow this is going to end up costing me about half what the stove cost, new.
At least now I know that the igniter element is made of graphite, and that the releast of the gas is not controlled by a thermocouple, but actually depends on the amperage that is flowing through the hot glowing graphite.

Looks like I'm being kept on in the lab(I'm currently on a six month detail.). I say "looks like" because there have been no official e-mails about it. Still, that's a relief.
That of course doesn't mean you don't have it, just that once you've experienced it, you have it stored in your personal karmic bag of tricks.

I just got an email from Delta saying that if I call the new reservations system from the phone that's listed in my profile, the system will "recognize you and respond naturally to your voice".

I went over to my parents' because my mother was going out, only to learn that there was a fire near where she was going, so she didn't bother. So they fed me dinner, and I came home! I even got a free transfer on the bus home, because it was so quick.
