Has there been some sort of bump in visibility for Gothic Charm School that I'm not aware of? Because I was just contacted by the THIRD casting agent/casting director in two weeks with questions about finding goth or alternative types for reality shows and commercials.

Also there are places that send offers for ads, etc., out seemingly at random. Anyone else remember The Bloggess's story about that? and why hitting "reply all" is not a good idea?

Well, that certainly makes me feel less good about her/them.

I guess it would be more accurate to say she was conflicted about ending that column. She decided it was the right thing to do so in that sense she did want to end it.

I am putting together my sister's Christmas present, and I'm kinda nervous. I'm putting all my eggs in a basket of a show she loves right now. What if it tanks before Christmas and I am effectively committed? I'm trying to think of backup stuff, and it's weak.

I much prefer going over to your apartment in NYC and deciding that all your vintage dresses look gorgeous on you.

I was afraid this would happen after I sold them.

I mean, the total amount of Bitcoins is fixed so you'd expect the prices to keep going up as more people use them. But then there's always a chance of another crash, so I'm still glad I got out when I did.

Selling them was a huge PITA, as the place I sold them at is having huge difficulties in letting customers get their money out (they're based in Japan)--some people have been waiting six months for their money! Plus there are bad rumors about the company. So I converted the money in that account back into Bitcoins and transferred them to a different company and sold them there. (I lost $500 doing that due to lower values in the new market.)

Anyway, I then got my money in two days and now I'm the proud owner of a new 15" Retina MacBook Pro.

I did totally check the JetBlue sale to see if there was Boston-Dallas, but no. Also, there is no way I should go out of town before February, which is when the sale is running, but whatever. Details!
