Sometimes I trip on how happy we could be.

In accidentally watching the commercials from this week's The Voice, I learned that Eamonn Walker is on Chicago Fire?? The last thing I need is another show to watch. As demonstrated by the fact that I am watching Monday/Tuesday shows on Saturday.

Well not canonically, no, but this is transformative fiction.

I have been assured that baby!Ferg will be wearing the Wonder Woman onesie when he grows into it. I couldn't be more pleased.

Nice! I just saw (Polgara's?) picture of Captain America tutus, and you know I'm all for parity.

If I knew any local babies, I would have bought them all Halloween costumes at Goodwill today.

Shit's all sorts of different now.

I have no costume nor a need for a costume this year. I are sad.

The lost sheep grow teeth, forsake their lambs, and lie with the lions.

I won't be dressing up, but it is so, SO tempting to put a costume on Finn.

I'll be sticking to carving pumpkins. I got two this year. One is short and wide, and I'm thinking of just carving a wide, wide smile with a lot of sharp, pointy teeth. The other is tall and thin, and it has a dent in it towards the bottom that looks like a scowl. I'm going to try to think of a way to work with that rather than hide it at the back.

I'm pretty excited that next year I will have a front stoop and little neighbors, to properly celebrate Halloween as a middle-aged lady. (I may throw on the Wonder Woman costume....)

trunk and treat is tomorrow night. so tomorrow after church I also need to bake something for cake walk, and buy lots of mini-pumpkins and gather decorating supplies. ugh. I am so unmotivated.

Back tattoos of the mother is that you are absolutely right - Ame

I think my extent of dressing up will be plopping my tiara on my head. I do have a hair appointment on the 31st, so I know my gal will notice. Beyond that...we don't even get trick or treaters.

I don't think I've had a trick-or-treater since I lived in a townhouse in DC in 1995. I thought some might come when there were kids in my apartment building in Queens, but no.
