One onerous task completed today. I e-mailed my CSA delivery company and mentioned that some of the produce has been coming in sort of frozen and then spoiling when it comes back up to room temperature, and the woman who works there was very nice about it all and is going to see what she can do to avoid that happening in the future. I hate confronting people about things, even when I'm in the right.

In work news, our campus is now officially smoke free. No smoking on campus, in buildings, near buildings, parking garages, nothing. Which, as a non-smoker, I think is great. However, I work with artists and dancers, two groups of people quite known to smoke. And usually in a zone that, with my lovely "green" building, has the smoke blowing into my office. When asked about enforcement of the new law, the reply is,
"Enforcement will be educational, and all students, faculty, staff and visitors are expected to abide by current policies."
What the hell does that mean??
