Continued ~ma for Connie & Hubby.
In work news, our campus is now officially smoke free. No smoking on campus, in buildings, near buildings, parking garages, nothing. Which, as a non-smoker, I think is great. However, I work with artists and dancers, two groups of people quite known to smoke. And usually in a zone that, with my lovely "green" building, has the smoke blowing into my office. When asked about enforcement of the new law, the reply is,
"Enforcement will be educational, and all students, faculty, staff and visitors are expected to abide by current policies."
What the hell does that mean??
Good thoughts coming your way and your husband'd Connie.
"Enforcement will be educational, and all students, faculty, staff and visitors are expected to abide by current policies."
It means that they won't have the authority to issue fines or whatever. They will just ask nicely and possibly nag.
Much ~ma for you and the DH, Connie.
Just in case it wasn't on anyone's radar, I feel the need to share this. Because everyone should listen to Patrick Stewart moo. Because Patrick Stewart. Moos.
Good strong fear-smiting vibes to you and your DH, Connie.
Emeline has another day off of school tomorrow. It's way too cold for her to go and I get it, but dammit! What's the point of being unemployed and graduated if I can't have the damn house to myself????
t total first/frost world issues
Aims, I hope the weather cooperates, and you get your day to yourself soon. You have most certainly earned it.
Well, that kitchen disaster will teach me not to try to cook exhausted and in pain. I wasn't even making anything difficult.
Just in case it wasn't on anyone's radar, I feel the need to share this. Because everyone should listen to Patrick Stewart moo. Because Patrick Stewart. Moos.
The audio on this is hilarious!! A must listen.
Because everyone should listen to Patrick Stewart moo. Because Patrick Stewart. Moos.
I love that he's taking this question totally seriously.
I love this. In the Chronicles of Humankind, in the times to come, we will speak of the Frost World and its hardships... "in the snow, uphill, both ways..."
Many good thoughts, Connie, to both of you.
